He speaks about April in a different way from ordinary way.

The lines in Greek are taken from Petronio's  Satyricon and they say the following words: 

 "Del resto,la Sibilla,l'ho vista anch'io con i miei occhi penzolare dentro un'ampolla, e quando i fanciulli le chiedevano <Sibilla,che vuoi?>,lei rispondeva <Voglio morire!>.

 The quotation on the epigraph anticipates the atmosphere of a cloud which is waste,no longer fertile,that doesn't give back products.

Ezra Pound was the father of imaginist poetry,a kind of poetry which developed in the early year on 20th which exploited the linguistic power as well as the emotional power of imagist.

 Eliot promoted innovative forms of poetry and Ezra Pound was one of the most significant people with whom Eliot and come into contact and Ezra Pound had read the Waste Land in a manoscript form and had suggested T.S Eliot to cut some of the poems part.
