Lady Diana should have to bring glamour and to show human sympathy to a royal family and also to provide a son and a heir.

Lady Diana was able to show human sympathy, in addition she took parts in a lot of charitable activities (AIDS, campaign against land mines..). She enjoyed herself when she was helpful to others.
