Lady Diana should have to bring glamour and to show human sympathy to a royal family and also to provide a son and a heir.

Lady Diana was able to show human sympathy, in addition she took parts in a lot of charitable activities (AIDS, campaign against land mines..). She enjoyed herself when she was helpful to others.

They never appreciated and supported her indeed they wanted to drive her out of the royal family.

Their absence would have been considered an outrage by people, so they participated not to destroy their images.

The death of Princess had taken the lost of public approval, indeed the royal family was appreciated for her sympathy, her charitable activities, her capacity to help the others and  to come into contact with ordinary people.
