Dear Sara,

I’m writing from my room. It is Sunday and I have to do a lot of homework, but I am too tired to start doing it. My legs and my arms hurt because we had P.E. on Saturday and I am tired because I went to bed too late yesterday... I saw a film but it was not so exciting. I wonder if you have to do a lot of homework too ... and I wonder HOW you can do it in French! I am enough in troubles doing them in Italian! Good luck... ;)

Do you know our class in smaller this year? We were in 28, and now we are in 23... somebody changed school, somebody failed their exams and somebody went to  France or  Germany... but, officially, we are 25. Do you know why?

Miss Bortolusso is still enrolled in our school and we should have a new classmate: the mysterious Miss Coco... We have never seen her and nobody knows anything about her. Maybe she is already in our class... maybe she is a ghost... look behind you! She may be there! D: Oh, but we also have a new real classmate (Elisa, from 2^B).
Ok... so... do you also have phantom-classmates in you class? (I hope not...) And you are in the same school of last year, aren’t you? Do you have the same classmates or did you have to start all from the beginning?

We are going to take part in some interesting projects with our philosophy/history teacher (Mr Cannalire). For example we are creating a theatre group, with actors, pantomimes, set designers, makeup artists etc. I’m a dancer... and I can’t dance! O.o
I’m sure it will be nice. :)
And then we are going to create a PIGOTTA in pairs! You know what a pigotta is... They are hand-made dolls that are sold all over the world to gain money to help children in Africa. And we will make some of them! I think it will be a bit sad when we will give it away, but at least we know they will help somebody somewhere in the world... :’)
Well... and what about you? Are you lessons the same as in Italy? And what about Art lessons? We have no more Mr Basso :( but we will manage somehow :) !!!

So... maybe I should start doing my homework...
Yes, absolutely, I have to...

Ok, write as soon as possible and tell me about your school life (and even else if you want... by the way... do you have a new host family? How do you get on with them? Are they nice? I hope so... Do you have new “brothers” or sisters”? Well, I think so... anyway... Let me know!)

Bye!
