LESSON NOTES 28.03.12
In the line 21 of Traditional And The Individual Talent by T.S. Eliot there is the thesis: what makes a writer traditional.
A writer is traditional when his consciousness is aware in time seen under perspective of timeless and temporal. The tradition is the historical sense.
The innovative artist is who takes possession of his ancestors' works and reworks them under another perspective. His art must be into and out of time in the same time. Timeless makes a writer classical but the significance is hidden into the temporal, in the contemporary time.
The creativity originates from the awareness.
