syntactical level= syntax= word order, punctuation

rhetorical level= the level of figures of speech (metaphors, synedoch, metonymy, hyperbole, litote...

IN THE END THE READER HAS TO BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN HOW THE CHOISE MADE IN PREVIOUS LEVELS MAKE UP MEANING.
