They have a lot of features of the Medieval Romance, such as the fight and travel of a knight, the ideal of chivalry, the mystery surrounding the story and the vague and imaginary setting that moreover is very distant from the modern society and very similar to the Medieval one. But some features of the Medieval Romance are recurrent in stories such as "Superman", "Batman", "Spiderman" and so on, which can be considered as modern knights.
