Textual analysis means to analyse the interrelationships of form and content oral and written:
Phonological level: level of sound;
Semantical level: word choice, aspect of verbs, tone of language;
Syntactical level : word order;
Rehtorical level: figures of speech ( metaphors, synedoch,metonymy,hyperboleuse,litote...)

In the end the reader has to be able to explain how to choice made in the previous levels make up meanings.

Co-text: what goes together with the text
Architext: the earliest text showing that particular structure
To be remote from: essere distante, lontano ( non solo nel tempo)
