The poem by William Wordsworth entlited "She dwelt among the untrodden ways" consists of three quatrains.
The text deals with a young girl who lives in a desolate place, indeed only few people know her. The author compares her to a violet between stones because she is different from other people.
In the first stanza the author describes the situation and the place where she lives.
In the second stanza he uses a metaphor to compare her to a flower and so to describe her social condition: she is alone like a star in the sky and hidden from the eyes of others. Using this metaphor he underlines some aspects of her character, she is a quite girl, polite, fair and shy.
Wordsworth closes his poem talking about what means for him her death because she's very important for him and only for few people.
