During the last English lesson our teacher read us an extract from an essay about literature and how to approach it. The writer affirms that reading is not an easy activity but it requires concentration.

The reader is expected  to dig into the text to understand why the novelist has chosen a particular title, word or layout.

Reading involves a mutual exchange between reader and text: the reader gives life to the text,. It gives the reader an impression.

Finally, literature is an effective way to change the world, but people often forget to respect and add value to sensibility, from which art derives.
