The Hitchhiker: Reading Comprehension
Andrea was driving back home from London, in a cold evening of December. She felt a bit
lonely and she couldn't listen the radio because it was stolen a few days before. The road was empty, but she saw an old woman who was hitchhiking.
Usually she didn't picked up stranger in her car if she were alone, but for an old lady she decided that pick her up wasn't too dangerous. When the lady went in, with her huge bag, Andrea realized that there were something wrong, something dangerous. When she noticed the lady's hairy arm, she realized that
she wasn't a woman: "she" was a man. Andrea didn't know what to do to bring him
down. After a few, she skidded, stopped the car and shouted that she hit a
child. The passenger got off the car and Andrea accelerated like a mad. After a
few miles, she stopped the car and took a look at the man's bag, which was
still in her car. She opened it and she found a bloody axe. She began to shout.
