It was a cold winter evening and Andrea was going home from work. Soon it would be dark, and Andrea did not feel sure of herself. Luckily, in her car it was warm. She would have listened to the radio to raise her moral, but it had been stolen while she was at work some days ago. Therefore, Andrea wanted to go to her cottage in Blockbourne, where her husband was waiting for her, as soon as possible.
While she was driving, she noticed a small old woman hitchhiking. Usually she would have not hosted unknown people, but that time she felt lonely and sorry for the old lady. So, she decided to stop. When she approached her, she saw the lady was not as small as she had expected, and was carrying a big shopping bag. However, she let her enter the car. The lady told her she wanted to go to Blockbourne too, because she wanted to visit a friend. She added also her friend's car was broken and so she had hitchhiked since she did not want to wait for the bus.
Andrea was instinctively doubtful. Without turning her head, she analyzed the woman: she was wearing a yellow hat, had stout physique and thick black hairs on her arms... Thick black hairs? She was a man! Andrea, terrified, made a plan. She stopped, claimed to have hit a child and asked the "lady" to go and see what had happened. As soon as the man got out of the car, she ran away as fast as possible.
After she had gone away, she remembered the lady's bag, which was still in the car. It probably contained something about the real identity of that guy. So, she stopped and looked in. Andrea froze. There was only an axe, with dried blood strains.
