The European Central Bank's Letter

This text is a formal letter,because it is addressed to the italian Prime Minister. The letter is arranged into three paragraphs, each one with a specific function.

The first paragraphs is an introduction to start the comunication and explain a reason for writing, indeed it explain the situation in Italy's government bond market and that is essential to restore the confidence of investitors.

The second paragraphs, instead, refers to backgorund information,to the thesis,according to which, Italy's need urgently underpin the standing of its sovereing signature and to a statement which explain the step to be taken because the previous one do not suffice.

Pharagraphs three illustrate a list of urgent need in the shape of measures to be taken with a better focus made by points from a to c, which explain the kind of intervention that must be applied. Indeed the first point express regulatory and fiscal system design,the second point express the measures to ensuring the sustainability of public finances,finally the third point show the measures to overhaul of the public administration.

In the end the letter concludes witch a closing frase which recommended the government to take the appropiate actions.
