THE LAST LESSON 

During the last lesson, we talked about literature and art. Our teacher read us some paragraphs of the book "Art Objects" by Jeanette Winterson. First, we had to think about the title and its possible meanings considering also the phonological level. In fact, literature is made by words and their different meanings. It is an art that speaks to everybody, and the reader is a kind of protagonist of the text, because he or she gives the words life. People who read have to dig into the text because the language the writer use transforms surrounding reality in a world different from our habits and sometimes, stories are truer then reality.
