Methodological reflection on module one

Aim:

•·        Studying argumentative texts from the structural, linguistic and content's point of view

•·        Producing argumentative texts

Analyzed texts:

•1.    A.TOYNBEE, The Chief Features of the Industrial Revolution, 1884 (extract)

•2.    T.S.ELIOT, from Talks broadcast Germany after world war II (extract)

•3.    J.C.TRICHET, M.DRAGHI, La Lettera from :" Corriere della Sera" (29 Settembre 2011 - p.3)

Process:

•·        Structural study: development of argumentations, use of language, vocabulary

•·        Analysis of facts

•·        Connected examination of structure and contents

Verification: production of argumentative texts based on given documents

Evaluation: three indicators

•1.    Consistency

•2.    Textual organization

•3.    Use of language

Scoring: for each indicator notes from 1 to 5 ( 15 total scores, 10 points = pass mark).
