Text analysis:
The sonnet consist of 14 lines (organized into). In petrarc sonnets the reader can recognized the typical structure of italian sonnet. The sonnet was composed to create a comparison bethween the speakers life and a shop travelling in tormented seas at midnight.The skipper is worried by prived suuch is so sad that he seems not to care even of terrible wheater condition.hesign he has desires and hopes.
There follow the sestet where his pessimistic sad mood,he weeps,he regress life as were as the condition of the wheater put his voiage at risk.
In the ending tercet the speaker hides his feelings in the same way as he cannot see the stars.He seems unable to use reason and even worst to be able to reac the harbour.
