FUNERAL BLUES

Funeral blues is the title of a poem that speaks about a funeral , about the pain of the writer caused by the lost of the man he loved and the presence of blues in the title make think about a striken rythm that moviments all the poem , also blues is a type of music that uses the sadness to storytelling .

This poem is formed by four stanzas composed of four lines , there are rhymes between every two lines . In the first stanza the writer uses expressions like stop , cut off , prevent , silence , for underlines that he want the all world to stop for a few minutes and the present of let in the line number one and four of the second stanza suggest that the writer want to know to the people his pain . The third stanza tells about how much was important for him , the expression “He was my North , my South , my East and West” suggests that he was his point of reference and the fourth line tells the writer thought love would last forever but he was wrong .
