TITLE: About Argumentative Texts


 

  • OBJECTIVES
  1. To recognize and to single out the conventions of an argumentative text;
  2. To single out the thesis develop and be able to find out facts and data;
  3. To explain the relationship between the different paragraphs of the text;
  4. To identify and be able;
  5. To explain the logic / thread of the argumentation;
  6. To identify the specific use of the language made (Key words, micro language, idioms);
  7. To identify conclusion drawn;
  8. To be able to explain how persuasion is built up;
  9. To be able to write an argumentative text on the basis or resorting to documents given and cultural background knowledge.
