TITLE:

About Argumentative Texts

 

OBJECTIVE:

1.       To recognize the conventions of an argumentative text

2.       To single out the thesis develop

3.       To be able to find out facts and data

4.       To explain the relationship between the different paragraphs of the text

5.       To identify and explain the logic / thread of the argumentation

6.       To identify the specific use of the language with reference to:

-          Key words

-          Micro language

-          Nominal style

-          Specific connectors

-          Idioms

7.       To identify conclusions drawn

8.       To be able to explain how persuasion is gradually built up

9.       To be able to write an argumentative text resorting to documents given
