MEN ARE

The title “men are” make the reader think that this poem speaks about men and what they say they are.

This poem is taken from a song of the Joeys, is formed by one stanza composed of seven lines .

In the first line is moked the habit of men to broast for everything with the repetation of -men are , obtaining a suggestive “men are , men are , men are ...”.

The rest of the lines broast men comparing them to primitive men , using adjectives reported to strong and to the rude and brave (theoretically) behaviors.

Finally this poem is set of prejudeces and I think is very funny and ironic.
