I found the last English lesson rather interesting, because the teacher provided us useful reasons to love literature and art.

I have always thought that reading was just an instrument of entertainment, an experience that set up a parallel world inthe reader's mind.

Now I have come to realize that reading a book may help you mature, change your vision of the whole world and give you  precious ideas for life, hidden between the lines.

In particular, studying literary language is useful to discover how communication works and to master a language in a better way (both basic skills for a student).
