I spent the day of 15th August at the beach.
I arrived there at 2.00 o'clock p.m. holding a ton of books in one's hand and a small fridge in the other; my backpack on the shoulders and with my earphones on. The music was very loud in my head.
I lay down on the beach towel and then I started reading one book while I was waiting for my friends.

A group of boys and girls was lying some meters far from me. But i noticed them and their mess immediately. Bags, handbags and colorfull beach towels were piling up near their umbrella. They were screaming like hungry lioness and crazy monkeys. I smiled sarcastically and then returned on the book. Maybe this big confusion was caused by the euphoria of being at the beach!

My friends arrived at half past three and then, together, we went to swimming. The water was colder than we have thought but this didn't stop our will. We just ran and jumped in the crystal water. Later we played volleyball, cards, soccer... and the time flowed fast... It was getting dark.
We ate our sandwiches and at 09.00 o'clock p.m. we went to the pool with a bus. There was a party! Colourfull flashlights, dazzling spotlights, loud music, drunk or happy people, every single detail made the evening absolutely crazy and unforgettable.
From the bottom of the pool an orange light was shining; that filled the pool with a holiday spirit!
We stayed there for about three hours, and then we went back on the beach where we remained all night long. Since we couldn't sleep because it was too cold and the sand was too damp, we started walking on the foreshore; suddenly we saw a light popping up and a figure appeared through the dark. It was the night watchman. We had a conversation with him about stars and constellation: some names, some legends, and so on.
He gave us some advice and the he went home because his turn ended.

At 05.30 a.m. we went to the station and took a bus. I arrived home at six o'clock and then I went to sleep. I woke up at one o'clock p.m.! That made me stupid for the rest of the day, but it was a self-sacrifice!
