DRAMA
Drama is a
literary text. Play is the text written to be performed and the performance. They
can be a tragedy, a Force, a comedy. Theatres are building to host plays and
were built in the Renaissance. Ritual is a sort of celebration which implies somebody
who sends message and an audience receive it. Play are representations, that is
something is represented a new.
At the beginning
drama is performed inside the church (liturgical drama), it was concerned with
religious topic and the instruct people who went to the church on religious mystery
episode.
A further step was when performances moved out
the church. In the XIV century religious and dramatic performances were offered
during the main festivals like Corpus Christi
in June; so the religious performances coincided with the festival's
procession, which was recorded: a new form of drama was organized and it took
place outside the church where the most important even from the old and new
testament, where represented by the builds. These kinds of plays were called mystery or miracle plays. In later times
also morality plays are performed. These kinds of play, at the end of XV century
were performed by travelling companies; they represented their moral teaching
in a open space or on stage plays. The main character were abstract vices or virtues
it was only after tradition of mystery, miracles and moralities the play move
indoor in the banquet hall of noble people or i the common room of university (ruled
by church).
Drama has
got convections and we must study these convections. Besides play are text that
are conceived to be performed. The main
