In her opinion Capitalism and the novels have common aspects and their evolution was similar. The relation is well expressed: "The novelist is a capitalist of the imagination". To tell the truth as well as capitalists, novelists create a new product taking the same risks of investors and they promote their product in competition with others.
In the third paragraph the reader comes across a sort of definition of the soul of the nove in Robyn's words and philosophy.
For the first time, in the fourth paragraph,, the novelist concretely introduces Robyn Pennrose. She is a teacher. THe paragraph describes her waking up on a January Morning.
