SUMMARY:

The listening number 5 is about environment’s problems. It is a radio talk show hosted by the radio announcer Jack and different callers. The radio talk show starts with the opinion of the first caller who lives in Vancouver where there is a lot of water and so he is against of water-saving measures. The previous caller says why he ought conserve water when it is sold in the States, after that Jack answers that there are many different ways to save water.
An other caller takes part in the conversation and says that he is interested to doing some clean-up; an additional caller says about the global warming and particularly he claims that we must use forest fires to do cleaning up works.
The talk show goes on and a different caller debated about the ozone layer, Jack invites all people to not buying aerosol sprays. Therefore, the discussion goes on with a different argument: farming.
A caller says farmers use all time fertilizers and pesticides to produce more crops, and so to increase the production.
The show stopped with the last caller who underlines that nowadays some counties are underfed.
