DIALOGUE:

A: Hi Lucy, how are you?

B: Hello. I’m fine thanks and you?

A: Fine thanks!

B: What did you do at school?

A: Well… we had a party with our English teacher!

B: Really?!

A: Yes. It was a “bring-your-own” party, so everybody brought something to eat or drink.

B: Wow! Where did you celebrate the party?

A: In our classroom, TSE19. We had a table in the middle of the classroom. We made it with all our desks and all the chairs were set around the table.

B: And what time was the party?

A: It was from 9:20a.m. to 10:20a.m. during the second hour of lesson.

B: Did your teacher bring something?

A: Yes, sure. She brought nine, different, little pizza: margherita, pepper pizza, mushroom pizza, ham and sausage pizza, blue cheese pizza, chips pizza and all that you can imagine.

B: And what about you? What did you bring?

A: I brought a packet of crisps and some biscuits.

B: Was there anything else?

A: Yes. There were: salami, handmade salted cakes, ham and cheese rolls, multiple-taste pizza and there were loads of chips.

B: What about beverages?

A: There was more food than drinks. Indeed, there were only two little bottles of mineral water and many soft drinks (coca and tea).

B: So, you were plenty unhealthy food… Did you finish all the dishes?

A: No, we didn’t.

B: And at the end where did you put all the leftovers?

A: We put the rubbish in the bin, but there was a lot of food so we decided to offer our schoolmates.

B: Good idea! So, did you have a good time?

A: Yes, of course. It was an unusual lesson to learn English, but it was really funny!!!

B: Fantastic! Sorry but now I have to go because my mum is waiting for me.

A: OK. Bye!

B: Bye, bye!
