Text about Rudyard Kipling’s poem “If”

I

In this text I am going to explain my personal considerations about Rudyard Kipling’s poem, called “If”. In the first part, I am going to expose the poem’s meaning; after that I will expose my impressions about Rudyard Kipling’s poem.

II

Mr. Kipling, in this poem, tries to introduce the world to his son, and he gives him lots of advices to be “a decent human being”; furthermore he tells him to be always himself.

III

In my opinion, Kipling gives good advices to his son, because he cavers up all the faces of life, all the problems that one could have to face and, the most important thing in my opinion, Kipling advices to his son to remain always what he is, even if he will meet successes and falls.

IV

I think that Kipling had to be “a decent human being” to give these advices. Furthermore he explains to his son the problems that he will face when he will be a man, so Kipling had already had these life experiences to give advices.
