“IF”

“If” is a poem that Mr. Kipling writes to his son to give him suggestions on how to face life and how to find a balance so that he can become a man.

In this poem Mr. Kipling argues that you become a man when you are able to not lose his calm and when you learn the meaning of some virtues: self-confidence, courage, tenacity, patience, love and ability to believe in your dreams. You become a man also through experiences and giving importance to every single moment that you live.

Many messages that Mr. Kipling gives to his son are the same that my parents gave me.

It is an always current poem and if it were known, maybe there would be no more wars.
