You can still see the Roman's passage marks in Great Britain.
In fact, over 9,600 kilometers of the isle's roads were built by them. They are long lasting roads because they were amazingly well built. They were used for troop movement and to simplify the movement of commercial gods.
Other marks you can see are in London. At the Roman's age its name was Londinium. The Romans were the first to build a bridge across the river Thames, that proved a convenient central point for the network of roads.
Healing spa, boundaries and other archeological remains are still there to see.
Taking in consideration all the above, we can say that when the Romans built something, they did it the better they could in order to make it last forever as their memorial.
