TESTO BIANCA COME IL LATTE ROSSA COME IL SANGUE

With our English teacher we are reading and discussing about the novel of Alessandro D’Avenia, so I would like to inform you about the things we said in class.

Just reading the titol the intelligent reader can make conjectures about the possible content of the novel. What strikes the attention in the titol is the using of an analogy. In reed one’s wonders who is as white as milk and as red as blood.

The most important themes in this novel are love stories, friendship, deasese and suffer.

I think that the novelist wrote this novel to refer to young people that life can be very short and that friends are very important.

The protagonists of the story are Leo, Beatrice and the history teacher.

Beatrice remains to the protagonist of Dante’s comedian, she represents a medium to reach God, perfection and untouchable beauty.

The function of the history teacher is to encourage the students to follow their dreams.

This novel has been successful because the character impresses what we would like to do.

The short video is focused on the most important moments in the film, when Leo and Beatrice discuss about love, feelings, problems and desease.

The first problem Leo has to trackle is finding the courage to speak to Beatrice of his feelings.

He realises he has some feelings towards a girl and the feelings are so strong that he cannot cope with  it.

He speaks about his problems with his best friend Silvia and she suggests him to write a letter to Beatrice.

So he decided to write her a letter about his feelings.

ANALISI DELLA LETTERA

In the letter I  can understand that Leo is very shy, has got a lot of dreams and that he is fell in love with Beatrice.

He writes to her that he has donated his blood for her so she can heal from the leukemia.

He want to stay with her and he want that she fells in love with him.
