Biography of Alessandro D’Avenia

Alessandro D’Avenia was born in Palermo on the second of May 1977 from a rich family; indeed his father was a dentist and his mother was a teacher. After attending classical high school, he attends the ancient letters’ faculty at Rome’s univesity. In 2000 he graduated and began to teach Greek and Latin in high school. On the 26th of January 2010 was published his first novel “White as milk, red as blood”. On the first of November 2001 was published his second novel “Cosa che nessuno sa” and on the 6th of December 2012 he won the international “padre Puglisi” award. On the 28th of October was published his third novel “Ciò che inverno non è” and now Alessandro D’Avenia is teaching Latin and Greek at Milano classical high school.
