My ideas on the title "exit west"

I'm going to say my impressions on the title "Exit West".

In my opinion, the word exit has the meaning of exit, so it makes me think of the escape when fleeing to a better place. The word west indicates the cardinal point, but also where the sun sets.

So, in my opinion, the title gives the idea of escape, of escaping where the sun sets.
