Feelings are pressing and depressing
Some people say that feelings are pressing and depressing.
In the previous text I'm going to analyze and discuss the statement.
First of all, a feeling is literally the emotional side of a person. It could be positive or negative.
When you say that a feeling is pressing it means that it demands you immediate attention.
I'm in agreement with it because when you have got a feeling, you can't make it be quiet or choose which kind of feeling you want to have and which one you don't want to. You can choose between giving it importance, or ignoring it. It isn't an easy choice to make: when you choose to ignore it you must be determined.
The second part of the statement says that feelings are also depressing, that means that they cause you gloominess.
To tell the truth, I don't agree with it, because I think that when people you care about show you positive feelings, you feel better. Depression could be caused by unrequited feelings, but you have to learn to go on with your life and don't give it any importance.
I think that hiding a feeling is never a good idea, because sooner or later you'll explode.
Taking into consideration all the above, I can say that feelings have a relevant influence on everyone's lives.
