FEELINGS ARE PRESSING AND DEPRESSING. DISCUSS.

In the following essay, I am going to discuss the statement: "Feeling are Pressing and Depressing", explaining its meaning and the reasons why I do not fully agree with this point of view. Firstly, by pressing means that something is subjecting a pressure; while depressing refers to something that lowers in spirits.

I think that feelings such as love and friendship represent a way to feel good. In my view when you are with your best friend you feel good because he or she is a point of reference for you. Moreover, I believe that if the presence of a person makes you feel suffocated and depressed, this is not a good signal and it means that you do not feel comfortable with your friends, or that they are not your real friends.

Feelings establish a relationship between two or more people and consequently feelings must represent a way to communicate, to help mutually and to be listened to. If feelings have a negative connotation you finish to be alone because you do not trust in no one.

On the other hand, it might happen that a feeling like love become a way to depress, it is quite common that people suffer for love; however, I believe that is only a transitional phase and it should not represent normality.

To conclude, I believe that feelings are something that mark humans from all the rest of the world and for this reason you must behave correctly in respect of other people.
