L: Hi Paul! How are you?

P: Hi Leonardo! I’m fine thanks, and you?

L: I’m fine too, thanks. What have you done recently?

P: Last month I have gone to New York because of my job… I’ve stayed there for 8 days.

L: You are so lucky! What have you seen there?

P: I’ve seen the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty and Wall Street.

L: What beautiful places!

P: Yes; and last week I was in Rome with my family: we have some relatives there.

L: Rome is a beautiful city, too. I’ve been there last year.

P: Wow! Did you visit the Colosseum?

L: Yes, I did.

P: And what about you Leo, what have you done recently?

L: Oh, I have studied a lot: we had a lot of class tests.

P: Were they difficult?

L: The Italian test was difficult… the others were easy.

P: Have you travelled recently?

L: Yes, I have been in Amsterdam for a week and in Los Angeles for 9 days…

P: Wow, Los Angeles! I’ve never been there, but I think it’s wonderful.

L: Oh yes, it is. It’s a living city: there are lots of parties, restaurants, hotels; and the Pacific Ocean is fantastic.

P: Did you have fun in LA?

L: Yes, I had a lot of fun!! I was there with my friends.

P: Okay; sorry now I must go, the train is leaving; happy to have seen you.

L: Okay, see you Paul!
