Synthesis Listening unit 6

Mr. Wilson became homeless after being fired from the steel mill, where he had been working for 20 years, so he decided to try his luck in a big city.

He lived in filthy hotels and when he was without money he lived in parks and in underground stations when the weather was bad. He usually found something to eat behind supermarkets and going at soup kitchens and shelters.

After 3 years being homeless he find a job in a non-profit making organisation cleaning graffiti off the walls and now he lives in cheap hotels.

He thinks that the ultimate goal of all states to eliminate homelessness is to give everyone the chance to live a meaningful life.
