This Saturday afternoon I would spend time with my friend Judith. We could go out for a walk and have a coffee or a tea or we could go to a country festival to listen to a folk concert. Instead, if it rains, we could stay at home and playing videogames, but I don’t like a lot this idea.  We could also go to the shopping centre, to the swimming pool or to the Odeon to watch the last film, Wonder.

I’m having a fantastic time in America. I go to school but I also enjoy a lot.

My host family is very welcoming. It is composed by five people: mum, dad, two sons and one daughter.

My American friend is Luka. He is 16 years old and he is in class with me.

We love music and also he, like me, plays the guitar. I like a lot soccer, while he likes rugby.

He is funny, kind, outgoing and a bit irresponsible. He’s so crazy!

Dear George,                                                                                                                                        Boston, 11 January 2018       I’m having a fantastic time in America. In the morning  I go to school, in the afternoon I practice different sports and in the evening I often go out with my new friends. We go to the disco or simply to the cinema. I love dancing and watching films!                               My host family is very welcoming. It is composed by five people: mum, called Mary, dad, called Markus, one daughter, called Jessy and  two sons, called Luka and Martin. My American friend is Luka. He is 16 years old and he is in class with me. He is funny, outgoing and a bit irresponsible. He is very careless, indeed, for example, he often forgets the sweater in the pubs or at school. Moreover, he’s so crazy! He plays in a rock band, he loves leather jackets, he has always got the rocker stud belt, but he never wears socks and he has pink hair! He is very peculiar, but, whenever he wants, he has a kind heart. We both love music and also he, like me, plays the guitar. About his and my favourite sport, he like likes rugby, while I like soccer. Anyway, we go to see some rugby or football matches together.              If you have time, come here in Boston with us for some day; you certainly have a lot of fun! I miss you George!
