A. Hi Mark!

M. Hello Anna!

A. How are you?

M. Fine thanks, and you?

A. I’m okay. How’s it going with Andrew? I heard that he's your new classmate.

M. Oh yes! He came to us about one month ago. He is sitting next to me. How do you know him, considering that before he had been living in Milan?

A. My cousins live in Milan and Andrew was their neighbour, so when I went to this city I often spent time with him.

M. Ah, I had no idea.

A. What do you think about Andy?  

M. In my opinion I think he is a very kind person. He is helpful with everybody and he likes a lot taking care of others. He is very good at school, mostly in Physiscs and Maths, so he helps us when we make a mistake or when we don’t understand a demonstration. He is friendly, funny and sensitive. Moreover he is very hard-working.

A. Pardon?

M. Yes, he is a very hard worker. He is really not lazy.

A. Impossible! He is very lazy. He doesn’t feel like doing anything. He always watches TV series or plays videogames. He don’t do anything at home. His bedroom is always untidy and his desk is hardly ever orderly. We have a very different opinion!

M. Yes, really!

A. Shall we go out you, Andy and I next Saturday, for example to the cinema. I haven’t seen him for a long time!

M. Yeah, good idea! I’ll tell him our plan.

A. Thank you Mark. It has been a real pleasure to have this little talk with you.

M. Well, same here. Bye Anna!
