Today March 11, 2010 at around 11:30 we had a new experience together with prof. Sponza and Professor Beltramini. During the 4 ^ hours we were in the school grounds to begin the 1st phase of the experience of practical study of an ecosystem. The ecosystem that we are going to study is the one on the lawn. The first phase envisaged the arrangement of the traps that have been placed on chess shape: respecting the distance given by prof. Sponza, we used the jars of yogurt or empty plastic cups into which we poured a solution of alcohol and water to 50%, where we expect to find insects that live in soil. We will wait a week to observe what will happen. It is the first time we experienced firsthand data collection (insects, which we expect to find) and then observe and analyze on the basis of classification keys or according to categories based on similarities and differences that we believe are more appropriate to use based a reflection on what we find.
