It also focuses on which areas of human nature the writer will treat, especially in reference to the social realities, arguing with elements drawn from the culinary field. The text ends with the exhortation to the reader to go on reading and find out from time to time each of the dishes that make up the "bill of fare to the feast,", that is, of course, the novel.
