-Who were the Janissaries?
- The Janissaries were Christian boys who were captured by the Ottomans. The objective was to made them become soldiers of the muslim army. They had to learn Turkish and Islam's costumes. When they became eighteen years old they had to go back to their homeland and destroy their families and homes.
