CHAPTER 2

The main function of this chapter is to introduce Erica.

In this chapter, the story's protagonist, Changez, speaks with his partner, an American came to work in Pakistan, about his life in America. Talk about Erica, the woman he loved (note the similarity between Erica and America) and their trip in Greece, made in conjunction with other rich young Americans; But Changez is disgusted by the waste of money made from them. The characters are very different, both gender, nationality, religion and economic conditions.
