CHAPTER 6 

The main functions of Chapter six are:

  -  Relation with Erica;

  -  Different approaches about love for man and woman;

  -  Social classes;

  - Terrorism and Discrimination;

  -  The differences between America  and Pakistan;

   - New York's changes, not multicultural.

The novelist explains how Changez and New York change after the twin towers attack. While New York feels itself more like America and it is nostalgic about the past, Changez is looking for a more objective way to observe things.

The novelist uses Changez’s relationship with Erica to show the different way to think of two different genres and cultures.
