EGolovchenko - The Final Voyage
[author: Ekaterina Golovchenko - postdate: 2007-12-01]

Charls Coghlan was born in 1841 in Canada.

His parents were very serious people and they wanted the best for their son. When it was time to go to school for Charls, he was sent to England to study. When he returned at home their parents were proud because Charls had obtained a good university degree. At the time his parents asked him what he wanted to do for a job, they  remained  disapponted: Charls wanted to be an actor.

He was determined. he was a naturally actor and he became a success in North America. He went to a fortune teller, and she said that one day, he would die suddenly and than his coffin would be returned home.

In the summer of 1898 Coghlan died on stage. He was buried on Galveston Island. Two years later the hurricane of 1900 hit Galveston. In October 1908, a fisherman saw something unusual. It was Charls's coffin.

The fortune teller's prediction had come true. He was buried in the cemetary next the small church where he was baptized in 1841.
