Exercise 1 p.98
- Last night Sandra saw Terry that was kissing Sharon Bates.
- She is thinking about saying something about what she saw to Carol, Terry's girlfriend.
- He thinks it is none of Sandra's business.
- I think I told Carol the truth.
Exercise 2 p.98
- If you were me, would you say something to Carol?
- If you tell Carol, she'll be really upset.
- If I told her, at least she would know!
- If my boyfriend did something like that, I would want to know about it.
- If you get involved, you'll be sorry.

- I'd go swimming every day if I lived at the seaside.

HOW HONEST ARE YOU?
- Would you read a personal letter to a friend if you saw it lying on the table?
- If you found a wallet in the streets containing 50€ but no identification, would you keep it or would you take it to the police station?
- Will you give an honest answer if a friend asks you: "Do you like my new hairstyle?"
- If a shop assistant gives you too much change, will you keep all the money or will you mention the mistake?
- Would you stamp a ticket on the bus if you knew that there were no inspectors on the line?
- If you are playing a card game and you can see other player's cards, will you tell the other player?
- If you ate a bar of chocolate in a supermarket, would you pay for it?
- Would you tell the receptionist if you accidentally damaged the furniture in your hotel room?
