•1)      Kate  loves listening to music and playing computer games.

EXERCISE 7

I love dancing, listening to music and drawing. I also like quarreling with my sister and surfing the net. I don't like doing my homework and haviing vegetables. I hate doing jobs in my house and tidy my room.

1) Does she like music? Yes, she does.

2) Does she like Charlotte? No, she doesn't.

3) Does she like mathematics? No, she hates it.

4) Does she like horses? Yes, she loves them.

EXERCISE 9

•1)      I don't like holidays by the sea. I don't like them either.

•5)      I don't think much of that film. I don't either.

•6)      I think hamburgers are all right. I think it too.

 

EXERCISE 12

1) A: What do you think of this sofa?

   G: What a strange piece of forniture! It looks as if it's made of cheese.

   A: Don't you like it? I do. I think it looks quite interesting.

   G: Well, yes, pearhaps. But would you really like to sit on it?

2) S: What a boring fim! I didn't like it. what about you?

    R) I didn't like it either. I didn't understand what it was about.

3) T: Do you like this shirt?

    U: Hugh! How ugly! In my opinion it looks pretty horrible.

    T: Yes i think so too.

 

EXERCISE 13

•3)      Why can't the boy lift the weight? Because it's heavy. Because it's too heavy .

•4)      Why can't the lorry go down the street? Because it's small. Because it's too small.

•5)      Why can't the boy walk to London? Because it's far. Because it's too far.

 

EXERCISE 4

C: What do you want to do when you leave school Jason?

J: I don't know. I'm not old enough to decide. I'm only sixteen.

C: But you're leaving school next year. I don't think it's too early to think about it.

J: Well, have you got any idea of  what you want to do?

C: Yes, Im going to be a phisiotherapist and I'm going to start training next year.

J: Do you have to trin for a year?

C: A year isn't long enough! It takes four years.

J: Four years?! That's long enough for me! I want a job which isn't too difficult with a big salary and lots of holidays.

C: Well let me know if you find one. I don't think a job like that existis.

•1)      Being a foreigner is not an advantage. It's a big dangerous.

•2)      I don't think this car is comfortable. In fact it's extremly unconfortable.

•3)      I really don't like that place. I really dislike it.

•4)      Is this expression formal or informal.

•5)      It's not necessary to buy a ticket. Tickets are unnecessary on Sunday.

•6)      Learn to be a bit patient. You're too impatient.

•7)      The sun appeard for 10 minutes but then it disappeared again.

 

EXERCISE 10

•1)      The pizza is too small for 5 people.

•2)      There are too many people and the taxi is too small.

•3)      He eats enough chocolate and not too much vegetables.

•4)      She's too little and the dress isn't big enough.

•5)      The bycicle is expensive enough and he hasn't got too much money.

  • 1) it's too dark to play tennis. You couldn't see the ball.
  • 2) It's too warm to have snow.
  • 3) It's too low for a bus to pass under it.
  • 4) He is too short for a basketball team.
  • 5) He is too young to have a driving licence.

•1)      I can't buy a Picasso painting because it's too expensive.

•2)      I can't drive my parents' car because I'm not old enough.

•3)      I can't learn Chinese in 24h because it's too difficult.

•4)      I can't walk in a day from Rome to Milan because it's too far.

1) Laura è troppo giovane per sposarsi.

2) Hai abbastanza soldi per comperare i biglietti.

3) La nostra insegnante ci da troppi compiti per casa.

•1)      We can't go. We haven't got too much time.

•1)      I can't hear a word. It's not quiet enough.

•3)      This  town isn't chaothic enough.

•4)      I'm not strong enough to lift this weight.
