With the rapid expansion of the Internet, new data and information are readily available. You must be able to keep up with the latest news and developments. This reflects one of the main points of the Lisbon Strategy: "Lifelong learning".
You won't get in a rut! You will probably have to or choose to change jobs many times throughout your working life (I don't know if this is a good thing or not...)
